At the annual meeting of St. Andrew's parish, held at the chapel, ïuesday morning, Maj. Harrison Soule was uliairman, and Prof. C. S. Deuison, secretary. The following vestry was then chosen for the ensuing year: Senior Warden- Col. B. M. Thompson. Junior Warden - Geo. H. Pond. Vestrymen - H. J. Brown, Dr. Fleming Carrow, Dr. A. C. ïvichols, Hon. E. D. Kinne, Moses Seabolt, Chas. S. Denison, H. W. Douglass, Geo. W. Patterson. The report of the treasurer, H. J. Brown, showed the receipts for the year to have been as follows : Bal. on hand, Easter, 1896, $ 70.15 Reed for general expenses, 4.381.68 " " special repair account, 427.74 " " interest Seanian lund, 90.10 " " '■ Wlieeler ' 9U.00 " " " Henning " 30 OU " " " special offertories,. 62.83 Total, Í5.152.40 And tlie disbursements were : For current expenses, $4,401.72 " special repairs, 427.74 " Seaman lund, 49.67 " Wheeler " 90 00 " Henuiug '■ 2D.36 " special offertories, 62.83 Total, 15,1)61.32 Bal. on hand, 91 08 On motion, a comruittee, consistiug of Wm. N. Brown and Col. B. M. Thompson, was appointed to see that the legislatnre made the neeessary changes in the charter of St. Andrew's Chureh Society to conform to the law of the diocese permitting women to vote in the parish. Alter the animal meeting the vestry organized by the election of Dr. A. C. Nichols, secretary, and Harry W. Douglas, treasurer.
