They are coming, men and brethern, Many hundrcd thousand strong; They are pouriog forth au army Exeeediug wide aud loug. They are stalling they are nodding, And their plumes are waviug high, As each malden lifts her bannui' To Ihe glorlous shining sky. They are fu 11 ol mighty wisdom, And the world their oyster is; They have bucklecl on the armor, And are ready now lor biz. They are ready for the battle, Aud their war-cry i'airly thrills; Some will sprout as full-fledged lawyers, Some as mixers up of pills. Man, poor, craven man, before them Flees afar and ludes his head, For the ground is clmrmed completely By tlie beauteous army's tread. Mau's a second tiddler sawlng badly ou a single strand, In the face of such au army tíwarniíng wildly o'er the laud. They'U be fllling all the places B'illed by the poof prosaic man; rhey'll be claiming all the options, Bossing ev'ry sclieme and plau. And the one nice way to stop them lu their stalwart, ouward stride Is to woo them and to win them, Aud to make euch one a bride.
