The Blaugbtered calf re-veals itself, Theshad is bony-flde; The root-beer's taking on an edge That tak es the eouutry side. The dandy llon Rprlngs np ayain, The oow slips on the lea; The cat-tails slip along the feuce, Boied feels tile maple iree. The crow-cuss greets tlie early mora, The hen is very set; The Btream, a bold aud fearless one, lts water-loo has met. And from the pie-plant by tiie well The farmer picks his pies ; While rouad the busy dairy bench The golden butterflles.
