Of course its no trick to unbuckle a few straps, but itrequires at least au eleuientary eduoation in horsemanship to "hook" up a horse, and after trying for two liours and a half to find the lost uoiubination and iucideutally íracturiug a good deal of the queen's English, Butler tied the horse behind llie buggr, iiistalled liimself betvveen the shafts and couducted the equipage dowu to a livery stable for further instrucüou in the art of hitching up a horse. His feelings, if not his appearance, during his pilgrimage were a sufficieut reminder of that meek and lowly beast of burden
