In view of the nutnerous warninga to farmers this year trom wheat buyers to cut the rye out of tlieir wheat, with the alteruative of aceepting a mncb lower price for the latter erop, the following, related by au Inghain couuty farmer, will be of interest: "In the good old daya of dollar wheat I solved this rye question. I heedeil the injunctiou of holy writ and let wheat and tares grow to gether uutil harvest time, but bound the grain all together in bundies. Thén at threshing time I had two extra men with brood ax and block, who cut off the heads of the rye, which alwaya extend a foot or two above the wheat, before threshiiiR. I thus saved rye enough to payfor the extra uien, and had au árticle of wheat so nearly free of ivo as to sell for the highest price."-
