The strength of the high school course in Ann Arbor is wliat has made it fatnous, and wliat bas brought here in the past, hundreds of foreign pupils, every one of which helps the scliool and also the city itself. While more attention might be paid to the primary grades to the advantage of the pupils attending them, yet it would be a suicida! policy to lower the character of the work in the upper grades.
