The Queen - I am williug. Archbishop - Will you solemnly promise and swear to govem the people of this Uuit3d Kiugdoui of Great Britaiu and Ireland and the dominions thereto belongiug accordiug to the Btatutes iu parliament agreed on and the respective laws and custonis of the same? The Queen - I solemnly promise so to do. Archbishop - Wiiï you to your power cause law and justice in mercy to be executed iu all your judgments? The Queen - I will. Archbishop - Will you to the utmost of your power maintain tbe laws of God, the true profession of the gospel and the Protestant reformed religión established by law? And will you maintain and preserve inviolably the settlement of the united church of England and Ireland, and the doctrine, worship, discipline and governineut thereof, as by law established within Eugland and Ireland and the territories thereuuto belonging? And will you preserve unto the bishops and clergy of England and Ireland and to the churches there coramittcd to their charge all such rights and privileges as by law do or shall appertain to them or any of them? The Queeu - All this I promise to do. The things which I have here before promised I will pcrform and keep. So help me God.
