Monday, Sept. 6th, Labor Day, a well arranged Harvest Social will be held at Mead's Grove, adjoining Northfield Station, Ann Arbor R. R., by the people of St. Patrick's Parish, Northfleld. One train at 8:43 and anotlier at 11 a. m., will carry those wlio desire, to and trom the grounds for 20 cents, children 10 cents. Returning 5:45 p. m. From Wliitmore Lake and return, 15 cents, children 10 cents. At 3 p. m. a good prograinrne will be presented. Jim Harkins, the well known comic songster, as well as L. J. G'race and other ftne comic singers, will entertain in this special role. Messrs Frank Mdntyre, Henry Menth, F. .1. Ryan and others will sing. M. .1. Cavanaugh will be the principal speaker. Mart Ryan will also speak. Henry A. Conlin, a promising young attorney, and the "Bill Nye of Washtenaw" as a humorist, will be toastmaster. A striují band will fiirnish music. Good refreshments, and a good time throiighout promised.
