Ou Thureday last, August 26th, after a lingering illness, Miss Josie Daniels died at the family home in Unadilla, aged 25 years. Miss Daniels praduated frotn the high school in Aun Arbor, and eutered the university, but her liealth failed at the beginning of last year, and she went to California where she remained for the year, but cousumptiou had secured too firm a hold upon lier system, and sbe returned to her old home, knowing that it was only a question of time before she must enter that unknown región, wliich in the end becomes the dweiling place of all the human family. Miss Daniels was the youngest child of Oilbert and Chloe Daniels, of Unadilla, and was aniecé of Mrs. R. A. Beal and Mr. Eugene E. Beal of this city, and a cousin of Mr. J. E. Beal, editor of the Courier. Funeral services were held on Sunday last, at the home, and burial was in the family grounds at the cemeterv in Plainfield.
