There was so Iittle interest in the lection of school trustees Monday, that hou tlie polls oponed there ere no .ckets printeil, and tlie first voters were bliged to rite their ballets. The candidatos soon remediad that ïowever, and a great many more tickets were on hand than there were voters. here was no exeitement wh ate ver, and t was so dnll that the cletks run out of tories to teil each other in an effort to eepoff the enuui, and Jim Bach actully couldn't even strike a note of a jopular soníí. The polls were open from 9 a. in. anti] p. in., and the result was as fullows : vart H. Scott 334 imraa E. Bower 338 ugene F. Mills 341 The people present then adjourned to lie court house, vvhere the annual uieetig '.vas held. J. T. Jacobs was chosen iresident and 8. A. Moran secretarv. 'he minutes of the last meeting were ead and approved. A resolution was offered to hold the nnual meeting at the high school bnildig hereafter, which was warmly enorsed by Miss Bower and Mrs. Finney, ut it was badly defeated, the general pinion being tliat it should be held as ear the center of town as possible. A resolution, iutroduced by Win. A. Clark, appropriating $:;:;, 000 forcurrent xpenses for the year was carried unanimously. On motion of Mrs. Finney $300 was ppropriated to purchase books for the ibrary .
