The blouse-waist illustrated is of taffeta silk and the decoration of insertion; ribbon and lace edging is prettily disposod and adda much to the handsome effect of the whole. A fitted lining draws the garment in snugly to the figure. The right front is wide and the left front narrow, so that the closing is made at the right side in Russian stylo undor a lace-trimmed frill of edging. This would be a pretty and appropriate style by which to fashion lawns, dimities, organdíes and the long list of sheer fabrics now in dcmand. The inevitable ribbon stook and belt does much to enhance tho loveliness of these waists, which generally have the mousquefaire sleeve with circular or frill capa at the top. Insertion crossing the front, as illustrated, is eftective and is a decidedly inexpensive ornamentation.
