The M. E. Conference in session at Port Huron the past week lias been a scène of busy work. Tliis presiding eider district lias been changed in name from tlie Adrián to the Ann Arbor district, witli E. AV. Kyan.f orner pastor at Ypsilanti, as presidios eider. Miss lio.se French wiU give a violin solo as part of the musical service. It is Iioped that all the members oï the Association who are in the city will be present. The advent of cooler weather gives a decided increase in the attendance at these meetings. Social and Educational Departments- A series oE Rally evenings will soon be given in the iuterests of the classes whleb. it is expected will te opened Oct. lst. To these all' young women are invited, whether they intend to enter the classes or not. The teachers will be present to explain tlie work they will take up, music wiU be furnished and a pleasant evenlng enjoyed. llegistration for the classes has already beguu, and the outlook is very encouraging. Come to the Picnic Lunch oï Thursday, prepared to add youi name to the list. Have you eeen the new dlsh board at the Y. W. C. A. rooms ? It was purchased last week by the Association and the Men's Auxüiary, and it is both handsome and convenient. The next thing needed is a bookcase fwlth glass doors that will lock. The Y. W. C. A's wMl hold vheir Picnic Supper on Tliursday, Sept 23d. Every meinber is urged to be present. Members of Men's Auxiliar; and their wlvea are especially invit ed. Supper at 'J:30. Each one bring BOmething.
