The officers of the Good Government Club are planning a catnpaign of more iban usual strength in the interests of clean politics. Every three months an 9pen meeting will be held, led by some faculty member or a prominent outsider. Municipal politics will be the subject most in diseussion the first semester. It is not the purpose of the club to ffiiogle in the city or college politics, for 'st is feared that by such participation it would degenerate into a mere politioal machine. lts niain object is to incĂșlcate ideas of pure political methods and true citizenship. The applications of these teachings, must come when the students have graduated and are eonfrouted with political problems. The first meeting will be held in about two weeks. The policy of the jlub for the ensuing year will be outlined and several University professors will make short addresses. The president, J. M. Bvam, is the leading figure iu tlie club.
