St. Tliomas' Church fair is to he liek in the Light Infantry Armoryd uring th week beginniug Nov. 8th. Il will eon tinne every evening, and a small adinis sion fee of ten cents will be charged The fair is growiug larjier every day, 01 account of the liberality of the meren ants of the city and its success froni ; financia) slandpoint is already asstired An effort lias been inade to obtaii aseful articles and those who patronizf the fair will find such thiugs as flour ooal, potatoes, imderwear, shoes, etc All these articles will either besold out aight for what they will bring or else raffled off. The la(iies in charge of the dineren bootlis, Mrs. D. Ross, Miss M. Rinsey Mrs. J. V. Sheehan, Mrs. Wm. Caspary ■will be ably assisted by the ladies of the parfeh. A fishing pond will be coudueted b} the Misses Horne, and a flower bootl %y Misses Sarah O'Brien and Katie Seabolt. The refreshnients will be ii oharge of Mrs. Geo. Gilbert. J. E. Har Harkins, Dean Seabolt, "Wil! Conlin ííieo. Cropsey, Jr., ïd. Dwyèr, an Frank Ryan and a great many other young men have promised to take ;u active part in the fair. Everybody is invited to be present ii the Armory next Monday evening whei ihe great fair will be opened by Mayoi Hiscock and Becker's Military Band The Ann ArborGas Co. will dónate to the lady who bakes tlie best cake on as stove, a beantiful parlor gas lam] with tube all ready to be used.
