Thoughts expressed are footprints of tlie mind. Look well that 110 uncertain tracks are lel't behiud. Who looks for trouble will notseek in vain. 'Tis better far to pleasure seek than pain. It takes botli rain and sunshine that tbe plauts may grow. Both joy and grief the perfect soul must know. Troubles that visit us are blessings in I disguise. Kacli one a lessen bolds ; j cover and be wise. We honor hitn who nobly tries and fails ; but look with sconi on him who at all labor quails. To work is noble; lie who toils is biest: be reapa a jnst reward and earus bis rest; but be who toils not, no rest may know. Life is a burden, and the hours move slow. Who seeks all labor and all care to shun, a foolisli person is, and selfisb one.
