Ttte Ijaneing, Dexter & Ann Arbor Electric Kailway Co., recemitly organized, proposes to buJld .in olectric line from Lansing through the eoutheastero part of Ingham county, through the southero part of Livingston county and along the Huron river in Washtenaw countiy, to Dexter and Ann Arbor. A water privilege on the Hurón river has been eecuired, and ib Is claimed it Will furaish sufíicient powef to opérate the entire liue. The company'-i headquarters will be in Lansing, but prominent men from Livingston and Waaihtienaw counties are interested in the project. The new eom. pany has a capital stock of $250,. 000. and its articles have beau filed. The following o.'ficers have been etected : President, C. A. Mapes, Laasing ; vioe president, R. J. Sluank, Lanring ; secretary, Charles W. Tay. lor, Uansing ; txeasurer, Tliomias W. Birfcett, Dexter. These ofiicers with Mwn-iis Toppiug, of Plaiofield, L. C. Chase, olf Dansviitle, and C. P. Black, oí Lansfeg, constitute the board of director. The winter will be1 devoted ix securing the right af way, aaid it Is fcxpected to commence constiruction iu the spring.
