Lon-don', Jan. 24.- It is confidently asserted in Conservative quarters that Mr. Gladstone wiïl not assent to any scheme for the reunión of the Liberal party which does not provide: 1. That a bilí dealing with the government of Ireland shall precede any measure on the land question; and 2. That the Irish Government bill shall establish a Parliament and Exeeutive in Ireland for the management of Irish affairs. It is thought that these conditions render the return of the Unionist-Liberals to the Gladstone party impossible under present circumstances.
