Washington, Jan. 22.- The House Judiciary Committee bas appointed a sub-committee to report on the Senate resolutiou fora constitutional amemlment changing the dato of the President's inauguration from March 4 to April 30. An effort i making to secure action by the Houw. Some members favor the proposition of Crane, of Texas, to flx the day for January l,.andalso to have Congress meet at that time, so that there would be an interval of only two months between the election of a Congress and its meeting, instead of tüirteen months.
