Death Of Mrs. Voorhees

Washington, Jan. 'L.- Mrs. Voorhees, the wifo of Senator Voorhees, died at their residence in this city at five o'clock Friday evening, of acute peritonitis. She ni taken sick on Monday last with congestiva chills, followed by inöammation oí the bowels, which terminated fatally. The romains wiü be taken to Terre Haute, Ind., and the funeral services will be. held there. Mrs. Voorhees was born in Greencastle, Ind., and was the daugbter of Mr. Reese Hardesty, of that place.
