For Eight Hours

Chicago, Jan. 24.- The leaders of the oight-hour movement at tho Stock Yards have undertaken to organizo the paekinghouse employés of the oountry, with a viow to making eight hours a working day in every packing-house in Üie United States after the first of next May. Agents have been sent to Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Boston, New York, St. Louis, Kansas City, Omaha, and in fact every place where the packing industry is at all extensivo, to quietly agitato the oight-hour question. Wherever butcher are f nund to be disorganized these agents are eUine thom together and establishing new local assemblies with eight hours as their motto.
