Chicago, Jan. 22. - Mrs. Joan Carfrae Pinkerton, the widow of Alian Pinkerton, died early Friday morning after an illness oí four weeks at her residence, No. 234 Ashland avenue. Mrs. Pinkerton was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, sixty-tive years ago. She was the mother of Robert and William Piokerton, the noted detectives.
