Ann Arbor, Jan. 11, 1887. Mr. Editor: An interested oíd maid writes you ín behaK of several oíd maide, asking vou if you would be kind enough to furnish them, ('hrough the columns of your paper) a partial list of the widowerg in our vicinïty. Those bachelors, which you published last week, are not worth contending for, with only one exception, J. F. Lawr nee, would be pretly good, but the girls are afraid of him, he wears euch a clerical look. Can't gay as to nis clerical actions. We have formed what is called " The old maids union" and wül do all in our power to suppress Widowers and Bachelors, (the latter mu6t be a little inclined to boodl.-). Hoping to be favorably received and our prayers granted, we subscribe ourselves Office - back room, Masonic Block.
