Favors The Hygenic Laboratory

To the Editor: I have read with interest and pleasure your editorial anent the establishment of a hygenic laboratory, at Ann Arbor. I fully believe that the legislature and governor of Michigan will admit the utility and benefit of such an addition to the Universky oí Michigan. Harvard, Yale, Cornell and the University of Tennsylvania, have such laboratories, and find them an important and useful means of intrustion. I sincerely hope that the present legiglature wiil not adjourn before making an appropriation for it, and by so doing earn the gratitude and respect of all philanthropic citizens New York, Feb. 21H, 1887.
