The following resolutiona were adopted by the Washtenaw Oo. Medical Society, at its regular meeting, March 28tn 1887. This society learas with sincere sorrow of the death of Dr. Daniel Hall, of Saline, one of its original membera, who for more than a quarter of a century has attended its meetings. In his death the society has logt a valued member, and medicine, an earnest and oonscientious practitioner, faithful in duty to patients, and to professional obhgatioDS. We admire the heroic courage with which he submitted to the inevitable encroachment of an incurable disease ; and commend his devotion to mediaal science, shownnotonly whileiie lived, butcontinuing after his death, and contnbuting to the interest in pathological study, and to the disabuse of popular prejudice against post mortem ezaminations, by requesting a necroppy of his own body. We tender to his family our most respectful and earnest sympathy in their great bereavement. Retólved, That the secretary be instructed to send a copy of these resolutiong to the family ot our late fellow member and to the county papers.
