Sherman Wants An Extra Session
WjIshingtox, April 12.- Senator Sherman said yesterday that he thought the President should by all mean s cali a special session of Congress to convene as early as October. The Senator thought by doing this the President would be able to brlng about the necessary legislfition for tha good of the country previous to the approach of the Presidential canvasa of 1888. Senator Vest, of Missouri, does not think thei-e will be an extra session. He says if tha surplus should become distressingly large it would bc better to go into the market and buy (10,000,000 4% per cents at premium than cali an extra session.
