Johnson, of Lodi, was buried under the auspiees of the G. A. R., the lOth inst. Geo. Mitchell and wife, of Chelse, were in town the 12th inst., looking after the interests of the Chelsea fair oí which he is secretary. The great shootiog tournament of Saline is going on. As your correspondent goes to press the result is unknown, only that there is plenty of burnt powder and scared pigeons. A. K. Kouse has been appointed deputy fish and game warden for Washtenaw county. Mr. Rouse's petition contained every business man's name except one (and he was an applicant) in Saline, and many from the country, lso the recommendation from both representativep.
