N'EAKING THE END. Morris, 111., April 14.- The proseeution yesterday caüed Thomas Murray, city marshal, who was on the niffht pólice forcé the night of the tragedy, who said that he saw two men referred to by Brakeinan Johnson, and examined them closely and indeu'.ified them as two minors who work in iho coal mines east of lkere. Frank Murray, chief-of-police of Joliet, said he knew Daniel Drinkworth, who testified for the defeuse Tuesday, and that he was at the depot during the early morning hours of Maren 13, 1&S6, and did not see Drinkworth then, nor has the latter ever told him any thing about seeing two suspicious-looking characters at the depot that night Thomas Dillon, night polico of Joliet, said he kuew Daniel Drinkworth, and that ihe latter never told him of seeing any suspkious charaiters at the depot. Dr. A. SL Cheeseraan, testified to the same facts regarding himself and Drinkworth, and tbat the latter's reputation for truth and 'eracity was bad. This was the 108th and last witness sveorn, sixty of whom were called by the prosecution. At 3:30 p. m. the íion announced all their evidence was in, .and the üefense said they had closed their evidence. Court then adjourued for the 4ay. Morris, 111., April 15.- Juige Wing begac his argument for the State yesterday morcing, speaking for four hours and a half.
