London April 19. -The reported loss of an English steamer off Bonifacio, Corsica, s confirmed. The ill-fated vessel is the Tasmania, carrying 180 passengers. Two Frenen steamers went to her assistance and succeeded in landing all the passengers, although a heavy sea was running The crew was mainly composed of Lascars! and these became unmanageable in their excitement, twenty-twool thembeing lost. The captain and two other officers were also drowneá.
