Sprikofield, 111., April 15.- Tlie remains ot President and Mr.. Lincoln were exhumed from their secret resting place in Oak Rid?e Cemetery here yesterday by members of the Lincoln Monument Assóciation and the Lincoln Guard of Honor and reinterred under the north wing of the monument in a brick tomb. vvhich was then cemented. The coffln containing the President's remains was oponed, and tne features were easily disoernible. A guard will remain on duty until the cemenUd covermg of the tomb hardens. SPKisoriELD, 111., April 17.- Ths twenty-second anniversary of the death of Abraham Lincoln was commemorated in the hall of Representatives Friday afternoon, the services being under the direction of the Lincoln Guari of Honor. The exercises continued over two hours and were largely attended. Addresses were delivered by Bishop Seymour, of the Springfield diocese, and Hon. W. H. Collins, member of the House of Reprosentatives. Clinton L. Conkling, a member of the Lincoln Guard, read an historical paper descriptive of the labor of the guards in guarding the body of the martyred President from vandal hands.
