All indications now point to a successful meeting of the Wasbtenaw Agricultural society in thii city, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thuraday, May 31st and Jane lst and 2nd. Umisual interest is manifest on the part of the farmers, stook raisers, dealers in agricultural implemento, in fact everyone seems to be taking a very aciive interest in its success. One of the special features of the fair will be an auction sale of live stock on the last day of the fair. Any pereoa havirjg stock to sell will find i it to their interest to wait until this occasion. The display of machinery promises to eclipse all former exhibitions, and as the meeting is held about the time farmers are making their purchase of new machinery, a lively interest is expected in this department. The amount of room in floral híll now engaged by merchants, insures a very fine display of domestic anieles of especial interest to the ladies. The space alloted to the exhibition of horses, cattle, swine, sheep, poultry, etc, is fast being engaged, so that the exhibi tions in these departments are sare to equal all former occasions. On the second dsy a sheep shearing contest will be held, several premiums being offered.
