At a meeting of the board of health held last Friday evening, the following resolutiou was adopted: Resolved, That the city papers be requested to cali the attention ol citizens to the necesstty for cleaningup their premises and adjacent etreets and allies; that the usual excellent sanitary conüi'ion of our city may be maii tained and to this end as an t sample to private citizens we respectfull) urge the city governmentandtheauthorities in charge oí all premire aud buildings belonglug to Ihe city, the state, the county, the schools and churche to see to it that the places under their control are kept in good sanitary condition.
