Seldom has a death occurred in this city that has gtartled the community more by its auddenneas or cauaed a more universal feeling of sorrow and regret than that of the genial young citizen whose name heads this item. He had been troubled for some time with Bright's disease but it was supposed to be nothing serious, and as late as last Saturday afternoon he was attending to the business of hia store as usual; but early in the evening he retired to his room, and feeling badly, sent for a doctor, who soon discovered that his hours on earth were very few. He gradually grew worse and at an early hour Sunday morning he breathed his laat. A. Frank Hangsterfer was bom in this city in Maroh, 1855 and had always resided here. He graduated from the high school, after which he took a one year's course in the pharmacy department of the University. At the death of his father, gome years ago, he assumed the head of the business in this city, at which he won an enviable reputation. As a caterer his services have been employed in nearly every large city in the statt, and his reputation as a caterer was not entirely confined to this state. He was a member of the F. fc A. M., Kmghta Templar, Knights of Pythias, Odd Fellows, Knights of Maccabees, A. O. U. W. Mystic Circle, Beethoven singing society, and other similar organizations. His funeral was held at the residence.Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, and was condaeted byArn ArborCommanderyKnights Templar. The business houses all closed during the tuneral, out of respect to his memory. _______
