Louisville, Ky., April 26.- Ihe assailant of Jennie Bovvman, the nurse-Rirl in the house of A. Y. J ohnson, who was terribly beaten live days ago by a negro whom she caught in the act of robbing the house, has been arrested. He is a burly mulatto who gives his name as Alfred Turner. :He was the twenty-first man arrested on suspicion, but his guilt was assured when it was found that hi9 hands and face were cut and that he had in his room several 'small arücles taken from the Johnson house. He made a complete confession. In order to avoid mob violence, as tha girl is still hovering between Ufe and death, Turner was taken to. Frankfort and lodged in jaiL He says the girl caught him in the act of robbing the house, and after throwing a wine-glass in his face, cutting him severjly, she attempted to hold him until help came.
