Banker Mitchell Wronged

Detroit, Hk-h., April 83. - The repurts of the alleged defaleation of W. G. Mitchell, president of the Exchange Bank, who is said to have disappeared withall thefunds of the concern, are ereatly exaggerated, if not enürely false. Mr. Mitchell has sunk an mdefiaite amouat uy bal management, öut according to hU book-keeper there is no defalcation. His entire unprotected inde btedness is only abont $3,030, and it is elaimed that this will be made good. The bank was a smali, unincorporated affair, doiug very little business.
