Dübi'qüb, Ta., April 23.- The Iowa Encampment of the G. A. R. closed its session Thursday. General Tuttle was elected Commandor, and Cedar Rapids was caosen as the place for the uext meeting. Mrs. W. A. McHenry, of Dennison, was chosen President of the Woman's Relief Corps. Resolutions denouneing the President' vetoes of pension büls, and the Chicago Times for its oppoeition to the claims of disabled ve'erans, were adopted. A Edispatch was sent to Mr. Gladstone expressing the sympathy of 50,000 veterans with him in kis struggle for Ireland.
