Speaker Sayre Denies A Report

WjlBARh, Ind., April 26.- Ths report seut from Indiauapolis that an extra session of the Indiana Legtslature is to be called aud the dead-lock broken by the recognition of Colonel Robertson as Lieutenant-Governor, in considcration of the withdrawal of nis suit against Green Smith, was yestcrday shown to W. G. Sayre, Speaker of the Lower House, who was named in the dispatch as authonty for the statement. Mr. S iyro denied tac statement in toto, and stated emphaücally that no arrangements were in contemplation for an extra session, and that the prospects for the contmuanco of ttie dead-lock were excellent.
