New Yohk, June 30.- After consulting i for thirteen minutes the jury in the trial oí Jacob Sharpe, the briber of aldermen, returned a verdict of guilty last evening, with a recommendation to merey. The penalty is ten years in the penitentiary, or f5,000 fine, or both. An effort will be made to secure a nevv trial. Sentence will be pronounced July 13. Upon being taken to jail Mr. Sharpe said: "Boys, now it's all over; I never gave one penny to Aldermen Fulgraft or any other alderman, and had no hand in bribing thj al dermen." With this the old man seemed to break down.
