Bellevi lle, 111., July3.- The boiler of a Bteam thrashing machine, doinsr business on the farm of John Barth, three miles south of Mascoutah, exploded Friday morning. John Plab, aged twenty, who had charge of the water tank, was blown 200 feet away and literally torn to pieces, some portions of his body not yet being found. Peter Plab, his brother, had both legs torn off and will die. Henry Lempkemeyer had an arm torn off and is otherwise injured, and Henry Schelterer was also badly injured.
