Bpkinofield, lü., July 4. - Many dealers in Illinois are applying to the Secretary of State íor copies of the law prohibiting the sale of tobáceo, cigars or cigarettes to any person under sixteen yearsold, exoept upon the wvitten order of the parent or guardián. A penalty of twenty dollars is attached to each violation. In this city the dealers are rigidly observing the law. It is understood that the Woman's Christian Temperance Union of Springfiolcl will prosecute the first violation of it which comes to their notice.
