Perham, Minn., July 23.- The fields here are alive vvith locusts, and ten thousand acres of vegetation has been destroyed. In some places currant bushes and young trees have been stripped of bark and foliage. The crops are a total loss. Every thing is eaten except wild grass. Numerous as these insects are this is evidently only the beginning of their ravages.
