Galveston, Tex., Aug. 8.- The complete returns received from 451 voting precincts in the State, including all the largei cities and places convenient to telegraphio transmission and a few complete county returns, place the total majorlty for Stata prohibition at 50,504, and the total mnjorities against State prohibition at 00,805. This indicates that the amendtnent has been defeated in the whole State by over 100,000 votes.
