Sïbacuse, N. Y., Aug. 20.- At the State convention of the United Labor party yesterday the ticket was nominated: Secrtary of State, Henry George, o Nw York ; Comptroller, Víctor A. Wilder, oí Kiagi; State Treasurer, B. R. Cummlngs, of Montgomery; AUorney-Genera], Dennla C. Feeley, et Monroe ; State Engineer and S urveyor, Sj 1ranus A. Sweet, of Broome. Resolutions were adopted denounclng rallway monopolies; favoring eight honrs' work for letter-carriers; women equality; extendlng the school age in chüdxen trom fourteen to sixteen years; favoring of f ree public librarles, and the Australian system of a secret ballot The spilt in the Socialistic party appears to be final, and the anti-George people are getting up a new party.
