Master Workman John Morrison

District Assembly 126, Knights of Labor, bas its beadquarterg in New York. John Morrison is itg national master workman. Through the nineteen local assemblies this central organization controls 23,000 c a r p e t weavers. Mr. Morrison bas been one of the principal factors in keeping the independence of 126, recently suspended because of' differences w i t h District Assembly 49. He is a bachelor, 27 yenrs old, his trade a loom flxer or tuner. He has always been keenly interested in labor mattere, and joined his flrst union, the Araalgamated Ëngineers, Machinist and Blacksmiths' association, more than ten years ago. He now holds membership in seven organizations, and takes deep interest in the Labor party in politics. He joined the Knights of Labor about ten years go tnd has held raany offices in the order.
