St. Louis, Aug. 30. - The official programma for the business and entertainment of the Grand Army encampment which is to be held here beginninir September 20 was decided upon Satnrday evenini and wül be published and distributed this week. lts chief features ar(; as follow.s: First day, Monday - Reoeptlon of visiting comrades at depots und steamboat lundings. DTuesday- 3rand paraue and review. Evening- Formal recept. on and welcome by Mayor Francis; grand illumination of the streets by hundreds of gas jets and electrlc lights. Wednesday - Opening o!' encampment and National convention of tlie Women's Relief Corps; reunión of States and regiments in Forest Park; excursions on the river to Jeffeh1son Barracks and National Cemetcry. Evening -Street illuminaiion, musical entertainment and flreworks. Thursday - Business meetng of the encampment, excursión to the tomb of Abraham Lincoln at Springfiekl, 111.. and river excursión. Evening- Street illum :iation and parade of the Trades Display Association, an allegorical representation of the busnics-í míerests of St. Louis. Friday - Meetirg of tl. e encampment and river excursión. Evening- Street illumination, banquet to the oltlcer-, delegates and representatives to the grand encampment; grand lire and pyroteotanio display. Saturday- Railroad excursión to Nashville, Mammoth Cave, Ky., and other points of interest.
