Mrs. Fred Corden is very sick. Miss Hattie Ford is visiting at Hudson. Dr. Nichols visited Devil's Lake the 26th. E. H. Marsh and famüy, visited Tecumseh, the 2Cth. The Germán Society took in at their picnic, the 21th, $1,000. The W. C. T. U. will give a social on the evening of September 3rd. Wilsie G. A. R. Post attended the camp flre, at Tecumseh, the 26tb. Mr. Nichols and wife and Mrs. W. H. Wheeler are visiting at DeviFs Lake. W. Jackson and Irving Corbett took in Pleasant Lake the 26th, on a fishing Excursión. O. E. Hawkins laughed until he cried when he heard that the New York club had defeated the Chicagos in Saturday's game. The correspondent for the Argus Bat and watcbed the ball curve from that Ann Arbor pitcher, the 24th, instant, until he was cross-eyed. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bowring and baby boy, of Detroit, and Mrs. Dr. Geo. Harrison and daughters Verna and Gera, of San Deigo, Cal., are guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Marsh, on Henry-st. Mrs. Harrison and daughters are on their way home from a trip around the world.
