Fatal Floods

Cleburííe, Tex., Sept 1.- A man named Schmidt, with his wife and four children, were drowned by a waterspout on Tueeday morning, near here. The flood in Bnffalo creek washed away the Santa Fe raihvay bridge. Waco, Tex., Sept 1.- Heavy rains on Tuesday inundated this city and raised the water in the Brazos river eighteen f eet higherthan it has been for three yearg. Many cattle have been drowned, and tralns are delayed by the destriiction oL railroad ■ bridges.
