Thobe-carlisle Election Contest

Washington, Sept. 6.- The testimony Ín the contested election case of George H. Thobe agfainst John G. Carlisle, Sixth Congressional district, Kentueky, was opened yesterday by the Clerk of the. House and ordered printed. Mr. Caiiisle appeared in his own behalf and General Hale Sypher, exmember trom Louisiana, appeared as counsel for Mr. Thobe. Mr. Carlisle offered no testimony.
