A star feil from the zenith bright, Adown it swept, a track of light. A spirit left its earthly home, Through boundless unkDown tracts to roam. They marked the two, the star, the soul; They said, so long as time shal! roll, When falls a star f rom boundless height, A spirit too shall take its flight. Unknown, unseen by mortal eye, Each nigbt a star falls from the sky ; Unknown, unsung by mortal song, Each second bears a soul along.
