Aa " Únele Tom's Cabin" company, at the opera house next Tuesday evening. The Wednesday evening service of the Episcopal church will hereafter be held at Hobart Hall, at 7 o'clock p. m , local time. A full attendance of the member of Welsh Post, No. 107, is desired at the meeting, Friday evening, as a surprise awaits them. Commencing next Sanday evening, services in St. Andrew's church will commence at 7:30 o'clock instead of 5 o'clock, as heretofore. The Webster Farmers' Club will give their annual fair at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Boyden, on Saturday, October 8. An interesting programme has been arranged, including a Dsper bv C. M. Starks. " 3 The fourteenth exhibition of the Brighton llarket Fair Assosiation will be held Oct. 11, 12, 13 and 14. Arrangement are being made for one of the rest fairs this successiul society has ever had. Any one wishing to learn further particulars may apply to Mr. John Carter, president, or Mr. Louis Meyer, secretary. The Chautauqua C:rcle, will hold a business meeting Fnday evening, Sept. 23d, at the resideace of Miss Hill, 35 libertyst. Any person wishiDg tojoin the c:rcle can do so by sending in their names. The required reading for thisyear includes the following text book : " American History." " American Literature," " Readings from Washington Irving," "Classical German Course in EnglWh," " Physiolopy," "Philosophy cf the Plan of Salvation,', " History ol the Medieval Church."
