Miss Cramer will give a social for the benefit of the junior class to-morrow evening. Students arerequested to register at the drug store on st., aa well as at Brown's drug store down town. The base-ball game between the two classes will probably be played one week from Saturday. on the campus. A senior class meeting was held Tuesday, to appoint committees on class cjlors and a class emblem of some kind. There will be a senior class social given at the home of Miis Lizzie Bailey on S. Division-st, to-morrow evening. All seniors are cordially invited. At the meeting of the Delta Epsilon literary society, last Friday, the debate, Resolved, That a property qualification for voting is preferable to an educational qualification, was decided in favor of the negative. These debates are very interesting, and all are invited to attend them. The foot-ball game played last Saturday on the campus between the seniors and juniors, resulted in two straight goals for the seniors. The first goal was a long and tiresome one. '88 hardly knew what was going on until the juniors had nearly won a goal on them, but when they did wake up it only took a short time to send the ball across the boundary line, and a loud cry for '88 was heard. The second goal only occupied a short time; long enough for the seniors to give the ball two or three good kicks, and it was out. The game was won for '88. A ring composed of both classes was then formed, and some skillful wrestlingwas witnessed, in which Mr. Mclntyre, '88, was victonous. Chas. P. Stone very easily won the run, hop step and jump for '88, cootesting with Ir. Butts, '89. The only thing the junior class got was the hundred yards dash; won by Mr. Butts, against Mr. Baxter.
